duplicator installation error

  • It looks like your installer file may have not gotten built correctly or did not download completely. If your using 0.5.6 or better you can get a copy of the installer inside the archive named installer-backup.php. Try and browse to that file and see if its works, if not then you may have to try and rebuild a new package.

    I am using duplicator to move my wp site from local host to lunarpages hosting site.

    When I attempt to open the installer.php file I get the following error:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/steve127/public_html/coolidgepianoservice.com/installer.php on line 217

    I have upgraded myphpadmin and have rebuilt the package several times.

    Still no luck. What can I do?

    It looks like I get a 404 when going to the page. My thoughts are that the installer file may have not gotten built correctly…
