Duplicator- installer php doesn't work

    Hello,

    I am on PC, Chrome. I’m trying to move a WordPress site from local online, using Duplicator. I’m stuck with the installer.php. The Database Test Connection is OK, but when I click on Run Deployment nothing happens.
    It simply doesn’t start the installation process.
    I checked with my webhost and it seems to meet the requirements for this plugin.
    At this point I’m blocked. I haven’t found this sort of issue so far within the topics. I have no error actually, but it doesn’t work.
    Can you help me, please?

    Hey Maxianna,

    Sounds like you may have a JavaScript error for some reason. To double check in Chrome > Right Click > Inspect Element > Console. Then look for any JS errors…

    Hello Cory,

    Thanks for your answer. Actually now, when I launch the installer.php, I get this error:

    Root Directory Fail
    Path: /home/a8608935/public_html
    [Pass] Is Writable by PHP
    [Fail] Contains only one zip file
    Result = No package file found
    Note: Manual extraction still requires the archive.zip file

    It sounds like a zip extraction problem, even though my host accepts this format…
    Is it something I can do to fix this problem?

    Hi,

    So I finally succeeded to run the installer, all my files are on the server, but I get that famous “blank page”. I followed the topics in this direction, I checked the FAQ, but I don’t seem to have any of those problems. When I check the source code, all I see there is the Google Analytic’s code, no wordpress. I had 2 errors in the Installer Test (deploy and update).
    I have no clue what I can do at this point.
    Any suggestions are more than welcome.

    Hey Maxianna,

    Does the archive.zip file have all the wp files in it? If so you may have to perform a ‘Manaul Extraction’ as something with the PHP archive unzip routine may not be working right on your host…
