Duplicator Issue: Old site redirection

Hi there,
I migrated from one site from a domani/server to a new one. I moved it using duplicator. The whole process went well, however to the end I had an unspecified error. The problem is as following: everything works just fine, I can access the dashboard and everything is in place with the exception of the home page. When typing the address of the site the home page is somehow redirected to the old site. But if you go to a subpage then you see the site perfectly well. I checked the config.php but everything is ok. I checked if the correct address is setup in the dashboard and it is. What shall I do now? Thanks
