Duration (days/months) shows in cart in english and plural only

I was trying to translate this plugin, but there is an issue, that a string doesn’t show translated and uses plural instead of singular.
Everything shows fine on product page, but cart shows the product with subscription e.g. as:
“1,00 € / 1 months” (english and plural)
but it should be
“1,00 € / Monat” (german and singular)
The price is set in product details per 1 month.

doesn’t it have to say “1 month” than “1 months” (without “s”)?
doesn’t it have to say “monthly” than “1 months”?
Whatever it is meant to be, i’d need it to have it in german.
