Duration of logs

    It appears that historic data on blocked ip log and similar data is not saved for longer than 30 days.

    Is there a way to overwrite this, is there a version of the tool that has additional options?

    Can you direct me to a filter that will modify this rule to set it to a longer duration?

    Hi @jlbworks, thanks for getting in touch.

    The 30-day limit is the maximum value you can set in the Live Traffic page’s options panel above the log. This is to prevent Wordfence from continually growing, as many of our ~5m customers will be on a wide range of hosting options with different limitations. There is also a limit to the number of rows that can be set here. We do intend to add the ability to export Live Traffic data for preservation, but I don’t have an expected release date.

    The plugin can store logins for up to the number of rows that Live Traffic is set to hold here, but is not cleared by date.
