Dyad too man Tiles on the front page

  • Hello,
    Since i have my WP i am using Dyad and it was always a good choice. Just in the last 2 days i choose to make some sticky posts. But now the theme displays 6 post on the home page. If i change the setting under reading to more then 6 it displays more but putting it down to 4… still 6 posts. That is new, weeks before it were perfectly displaying juts 4.

  • Hello Phil,

    This is caused by the WordPress software itself, and not specific to this theme.

    If you set your posts page to display 4 posts, it will show the four most recent posts, in addition to any sticky posts.

    Your site currently shows 4 sticky posts, and 3 recent posts. I’m going to guess one of the sticky posts is also one of the four most recent posts on your site, meaning your site is showing the 4 most recent posts (of which one is sticky), along with 3 older sticky posts.

    I don’t know of a way to change this behaviour.
