    Hi,

It’s kind of possible but not like this. There are two ways to do this:

    1. The plugin has an option to sync with Google Docs, so you can make a CSV in Google Docs and do it like that.

    2. If you’re a Pro user then the plugin has a live editor. So instead of updating the CSV, you can update the spreadsheet live inside the plugin.

    Hope this helps. ??

As there will be a different department updating the data source (Excel saved to csv).

So will provide them ftp access to upload the file or have a ftp sync setup to upload the data.

So looking for a chart plugin with these feature; Even if required to purchase the plugin.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, that’s not possible to do with this plugin. Hope you find a plugin with that function. ??

Why not have the plug-in directly pull the data from the WP Database for real-time graphs and charts?

    Hi,

Actually it’s not a user-friendly way. Instead of focusing on few cases, I will focus on an average user. An average user has no idea how to use FTP or File Manager, so having the plugin to pull data from a local sheet won’t be a great idea. And if we added it, there will then be a request to “why not allow us to edit that spreadsheet from admin panel?”

Not saying that your idea isn’t good but it’s not what the philosophy behind this specific plugin is. Hope you understand. ??

We have two alternatives, as mentioned above:

    1. The plugin has an option to sync with Google Docs, so you can make a CSV in Google Docs and do it like that.

    2. If you’re a Pro user then the plugin has a live editor. So instead of updating the CSV, you can update the spreadsheet live inside the plugin.

Let me know your thoughts. ??
