Dynamic ACF text not appearing in yoast description, or search excerpt

Hello,

I have setup a template for my custom post singles using elementor pro, and I am using Advanced custom fields to pull in the content entered into the main post edit screen, eg ‘Overview’ and ‘Detail’. The only thing that is edited individually in the single post elementor screen is a media carousel for each. I checked my Yoast auto description which usually feeds in text automatically from a post/page content, but noticed that it only displays ‘Previous / Next’ which I assume is from the media carousel alt text. I guess this makes sense as that is all that is technically in the_content area for the post. I then tried to add a duplicate dynamic text field above the media carousel in the individual post (within the_content area), and although it displays on the page in the front end, it is still not showing in the yoast description code, OR in the search result excerpt. That just says ‘Previous/next’. I was hoping that by adding one of the ACF text fields into the_content area should work, so at least there would be a fall back yoast description if I forget to manually add one in at some point. I have 50+ posts. My aim was to add this dynamic ‘overview’ field into the_content area above the media carousel and then hide it with CSS so that the code would still pick it up, but it would not be duplicated on the page, but even before I hide it in css, it is not picking it up in the search results or in the yoast description. Interestingly, if I manually type some text into the wp_content area of the post, that text does appear in the Yoast description and in the search results excerpt. But it is still ignoring the ACF dynamic ‘Overview’ content, even though that is appearing in the page.

I have tried deactivating all the plugins leaving only Yoast, Elementor, Elementor pro and ACF active. Problem still persists. Changed theme to twenty-twenty-one, problem still persists.

I have already contacted Elemento pro support and they said it was an ACF and YOAST issue.

Please can you suggest a fix for this?
