Hi, Can I set up dynamic ads with this pixel or do I need Woocommerce / EDD installed? Also, should I delete the pixels I have installed on my pages if I’m going to use Pixelyoursite? Thank you.

    Hi,

For Dynamic (Product) Ads to work you’ll need an e-commerce site:

    1. The pixel must fire at least 3 specific events: ViewContent on product pages, AddToCart and Purchase, all with the product ID.

    2. You must have a Product Catalog.

So the answer is no, you can’t do Dynamic Ads if you don’t have WooCommerce or EDD.

However, you can do some nice remarketing campaigns using a few well thought Custom Audiences and some good goal planing.

As for the second question, yes, you must remove your old pixels if you decide to go with PixelYourSite.

    Best!

Hi thank you for your quick reply.

I sell services. Do you know if I can set up WooCommerce or EDD in order to do dynamic ads with PixelYourSite? I don’t want people to buy directly, only sign up. Here’s one of my destination pages: https://www.costa-del-tennis.com/adults/mallorca-may/. Thanks so much!

Is not for me to say, but it’s a bit to much to start implementing WooCommerce or EDD just to be able to do Dynamic Ads.

You can achieve quite a lot using your site as it is now. A few Custom Audiences and some events will do.

    For example:

    a. Custom Audience 1: based on that URL visitors

    b. Implement an event on form completion

    c. Custom Audience 2: based on the event from b

Target Custom Audience 1, excluding Custom Audience 2 and optimising for the event.

    That’s about it ??
