    Hi,

    I want to create a table and populate it using a short code which creates a changing number of rows and content.

    When rendered all the content is being populated into one cell – tried changing the wrap settings but remained the same all content in gets into the first cell

    The obvious workaround I did is to export the content and upload an excel sheet to tablepress but this is not good enough for my use case.

    Any thoughts

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    I’m afraid that this will not work. If your custom Shortcode already contains HTML code for a table, TablePress can not use that and “merge” it into its own data.
    However, if your custom Shortcode already contains HTML code for a table: Why do you need a TablePress table around it then?

    apologies I was not clear I have a shortcode that creates content in a list for example :

    New-York
    Tel-Aviv
    Boston
    Paris

    the problem that this content get inside one cell instead of each city going to a different cell

    Hi,

    ok, even if that’s not HTML, TablePress can not distribute that content into separate cells, sorry ??
