Dynamic email* not working

I have spent hours trying to find a way to get the email to dynamically populate with user_email. Basically CF7 needs the email* in order to work correctly, however, this dynamic text extension needs dynamictext to work so the two are completely incompatible.

Has anyone found a solution to this?
