Dynamic OrderBy Field problem with numeric data

Hello,

The Dynamic OrderBy Field option seems to assume the field value data as strings, so if posts have the chosen field’s values as 1, 2, 4, 9, 13, 21 and I choose descending order, it shows posts in this order of chosen field values: 9, 4, 2, 21, 1, 13.

I understand that this is desired behavior for string data, but it doesn’t fit numeric data use cases.

Please provide another option that orders by a custom field using numeric data i.e. using ‘orderby’ => ‘meta_value_num’ instead of ‘orderby’ => ‘meta_value’.
