Dynamic posts and taxonomies vs. CPT UI

  • So I’ve always used CPT UI plugin to create custom posts and taxonomies. Now I’ve discovered that your plugin has dynamic posts and taxonomies. Somehow I missed this for a while. So do these posts and taxonomies replace those options from CPT UI? Would I be able to uninstall the CPT UI plugin entirely if I wish? I have ACF Pro if that matters.

    Is there any way to transfer data and settings from existing CPT UI posts and taxonomies to your tools?

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Unfortunately there is no such tool. Export from CPT UI are kinda different (while similar) to the one handled by ACF Extended.

    However, settings names should be very similar since both UI just use the native WP register_post_type() (see documentation) and register_taxonomy() (see documentation) behind the scene.

    There is not that many settings in the end, so you should be able to register them manually pretty easily from the UI.
