Dynamic settings fields not saved

Some servers have a max length for field names. To workaround, go to Products > Shipping Classes, edit the class, and shorten the ‘slug’.

no effect, the field name is now: woocommerce_flat_rate_class_cost_mbe.
The fields still empty after save. Also the error_log is empty.

What value are you saving?

I have tried a lot of values, here are some examples:

1.99
1,99
10 * [qty]

Just tried local and its saving. Are you seeing any changes in the option in the database, if you can find it. Not really sure other than mod_security/suhosin blocking it.

can you give me a hint, which option_name it is? there are so much entries for woocommerce ??

if I remove the setting from DB it is created new after save with the same data.

I have deinstalled this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-pay-for-payment/

Now the fields will be saved again. If I install it again, the fields will not be saved. So I think it is a bug / conflict with this plugin.

Where you using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-pay-for-payment/ for setting price in your payment gateways?
I am using 2.4 but do not have any issue saving.
What shipping method are you using?

activated is only the shipping method flat_rate in my test system, live we have activated: flat_rate, international_delivery and local_pickup

Yes I can also confirm the problem.
The thing is, pay for payment is used for payment gateways and not shipping methods. Can not understand how it can create a problem.

Mike Jolley I have narrowed it down to a single call of available gateways
specifically to this line
foreach ( WC()->payment_gateways()->payment_gateways() as $gateway_id => $gateway ) {
Its line 200 in https://github.com/mcguffin/woocommerce-payforpayment/blob/master/admin/class-pay4pay-admin.php

But I can not understand why its interfering with the shipping methods.
I tried replacing it with $woocommerce->payment_gateways()->payment_gateways() but it makes no difference.
I am not the author of pay4payment, just trying to help.

Please replace

add_action( 'woocommerce_init' , array( &$this , 'add_payment_options'), 99 );

with

add_action( 'wp_loaded' , array( &$this , 'add_payment_options'), 99 );
