Dynamic Shipping?

Hi,

Question for you Mishu. Does the Pro version of the plugin provide a facility to calculate the cheapest shipping option available via the shipping modules or do you need to set a default/static value via the Google Merchant interface?

If this isn’t a feature already can I suggest you find a way to generate a dynamic shipping quote based on generic details (possibly customer supplied) for the target country/feed. This is something I did with the Interspire shopping cart module I retired last year and it seems likely you could use the same approach with your own WooCommerce version.

Having static values is potentially too labour intensive and also likely to result in inaccurate quotes that get the feed/product rejected or lose the customer (because shipping cost is too high).

Also have series of other questions including:
– Is it possible to submit to multiple country feeds?
– Is it possible to read/redirect data to use say “USD value of product” from a custom field or similar?

Ultimately I have a fair amount of experience of Google Merchant feeds from earlier module in Interspire, but little to none of WooCommerce so happy to provide insight, testing, etc.. to help with your plugin.
