As I understand, it’s possible to make URL parameters affect filtering and sorting of a table. But is it possible to make it so when a user clicks on filtering and sorting options next to a table (search panes, search builder etc) the respective URL parameters get added to the URL? So that they could retain their filter and sort options on refresh, and maybe even for when they navigate away and then come back to the table.

    Hi @mihkelroomet,

Currently, there are no parameters you can add to the URL so you can retain the sorting and filtering options chosen by the user in the Search Builder or Search Pane.

The only option you can try is to set specific filtering in the WHERE Clause of your data table options, however, this would then be considered static and not dynamic filtering. The Default Sorting, however, will still be retained.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have more questions. ??

I wasn’t aware there was a WHERE Clause option?? it’s not going to do what I hoped for, but it could be useful someday.

Thanks for the clear explanation. It’s a bit disappointing there is no such functionality as I described, but it’s not a huge deal for me and I can work around it.
