    How to track dynamic values by conversion, ie, cart total for every sale/conversion.

    No. The plugin does all of that for you.

    You just need to make sure to use the correct conversion ID and label in the plugin settings, and in the conversion settings within Google Ads you need to chose the dynamic value (with a default of whatever you prefer. I use zero.)

    Got it, thanks. That’s what I did.

    Only if you had visitors to the order confirmation page.

    If you think there were confirmed orders then one reason why it doesn’t work is if you are testing yourself and have not logged out as admin. Admins are not tracked.

    Also one reason could be that your payment gateway doesn’t properly redirect back to the order confirmation page.

    Something is not working… I have an order and made another one myself logged out after clicking an add. I don′t think conversions are being recorded.

    Any help?

    How long is it ago since the order has been placed?
    It can take several hours before the conversion shows up.

    If it still doesn’t, send me the URL of a successful order (the order confirmation page) to [email protected]

    Hi Alekv,

    I need help on this please.

    I run an e-commerce in WordPress and I need to track the conversion of dynamic values in Google Ads.
    I’ve set up the Global site tag on header.php file (between <head> and </head> labels) but I did not set up the event tag on the “thank you” page, as I understand that this is what your plugin is doing.

    I also configured the plugin as you explained and set up the conversion on Google Ads.

    I tested 3 days ago, and the conversion is not tracked. I did test, logged out of admin and also checked the tag with Google Tag assistant in “Thank you” page.

    The test was done with a proper redirection from “checkout” page to “thank-you” page.

    I am really stuck on this some weeks ago and I don’t know how to proceed further.
    Any idea?

    Hi Antxon

    Our plugin also inserts the gtag. So you can safely remove it from the <head>

    Send me the URL of a successful purchase (of the purchase confirmation page) and I’ll have a look if the pixel fires correctly.
