Dynamic widgets has worked well to edit the widgets in bbpress forum, topic and post pages. But I cant get it to work in the bbpress search widget’s “Search Results’ page. All my side bar widgets show up in the Search Results page, and even after the Set All Options to NO is activated on a widget, they still show on the Search Results page. Any ideas please.

Here’s my forum page to see the problem. https://kccyc.org.au/forum/

Click on a topic and you will see the search and login widgets in the right side bar. Enter a search word and you will see the right side bar populated with all the right side bar widgets for the entire site. The Buoy Weather widget has “All Options Set to NO” in that particular widgets Dynamic Widgets editing page, therefore it shouldn’t be showing in any of the page or post side bars.

Hmm… I actually would expect the search to be the regular search page of WordPress. Apparently that’s not the case in your template?

Dynamic Widgets automatically recognized the Forum, Topic and Post pages/posts of bbPress when I installed the bbPress plugin. These 3 pages are individually listed in the edit window within Dynamic Widgets.

But it doesn’t recognize the Forum Search Results Page. I wonder if this can be added to the edit page in DW. Or is this a bbPress issue perhaps?

I should add that I haven’t changed/edited any templates on my theme (Weaver II Pro) or bbPress.

Ok, I guess it’s another search page. I’ve added it to the wishlist for further research.

Hi, i have exactly the same problem:

The Forum Search Results Page will show all widgets including those that are deactived for the forum.
I was wondering if you had already found a solution for this.

I am using the Catch Evolution theme, bbpress and Dynamic Widgets.

I haven’t resolved the problem. Had no contact from Qurl on the issue, but I also haven’t checked DW updates to see if he has addressed the problem yet.
