dynamically populated form fields not submitting to Salesforce

I’ve been using the Gravity Forms Salesforce Web to Lead Add-On with great success. But I’ve run into a snag where I can’t get it to pass the data to salesforce from a form field that is set to allow dynamic population into Salesforce. every other field in the form passes correctly, just not the prepopulated field. I’ve tried text fields, hidden fields, lists, etc.
