E-commerce product zooming-in distorts images

Hi,

When you click on the little magnifying lens icon on any of the products, they are enlarged in a lightbox. Here, you have a further option to zoom in, but when you do, the images get distorted. Is there a way to either constrain the proportions or disable this feature?
