E-mail me whenever !!!

  • On the control panel of my blog in the Discussion tab of Options menu I select the option E-mail me whenever: Anyone posts a comment… but I only recibe an email when anyone post a comment in a discussion created by me!… And i want to recibe an email WHEN ANYONE POSTA A COMMENT IN ANY DISCUSSION… not only the discussion created by me!

    IS THIS POSIBLE???! can you tell how to do it??!!

  • Email about comments go to the post author. To change this you’d have to modify the function wp_notify_postauthor in wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php.

    Or you could just put your email address in the post author’s User Profile ??

    I modified the function pluggable-functions.php and now works like I want !!! thank U!…

    I have another question now! How can i configure my blog to send an email to each member when there is a New Post ??!!!

    Get the subscribe2 plugin. https://www.skippy.net/blog/plugins

    Then manually subscribe your users, or just email them all and let them do it themselves.
