e-mail notification of new posts

  • Hello All,

    I’m new to WordPress. My apologies if this is a redundant question.

    I would like to send e-mail notifications when my blog is updated with a new post. Is that possible, and if so, can someone recommend the easiest way to do this?

    I think I found the answer, which is using the “Subscriber2” plug-in. So far, it seems to work well.

    Any other suggestions without using a plug-in would be appreciated.
