Thank you for writing to us.

If you do not enable?email template on a specific?event, ProfileGrid will not send?those?emails to users.?Additionally, you can select custom templates?on different events as well.

Please follow the steps below to create custom email templates:

1) Login to WP dashboard and go to “ProfileGrid >>? Email Templates” menu.

2) Here you can add/delete email templates.

Please follow the?steps below to change email template on different events for user emails:

1) Login to WP dashboard and go to ProfileGrid menu.

2) Here, you will see the Groups list.

3) Next, enable the option “Group Member Emails” from here.

4) Once you enable, you will get the dropdowns to select the option for different events.

5) Select the option “Select Email Template” for the event you want to disable the email. Or select the custom template here on different events.

thank you for a great plugin. I am afraid I do not quite follow you on the above statement. The only way I can see available in order to “not enable email template on a specific event” is to return the drop down menu to the original value of “Select Email Template”. But when you try to save the Edit Group options it warns you that “this field is required” and does not allow to save without a template selected in EVERY EVENT!

If I try to delete the template I’m told that it is already assigned to an event and i have to clear the assignment first, which completes the full circle!!!! ??

Could you please be a bit more specific with your instructions of disabling certain emails from sending?…

PS: the reason i want to take the “Account Activation” email off if because I have my settings on auto-activate account but it still sends. So, the new group member receives two emails on registration…..

We held back the feature of enabling email template on specific events as we felt there was more work to be done on it. Our team is working on it as I write this message and will roll it out with the next version update of ProfileGrid. This can take about 3-4 working days.

We request you to wait till the next version update is out to check out the functionality. Also, we apologize for any inconvenience caused because of this delay.

We have included the feature to disable emails on specific events for users in our latest version update. If you do not select the email template on a specific event now, ProfileGrid will not send those emails to users.
