• So here’s an intersting one I have. My wife’s site https://www.carriessweetlife.com is having a spam e-mail problem. She’s getting all sorts of spam e-mails routed to her main e-mail for the site with a message unable to send from postmaster, it’s all spam bot random names with @carriessweetlife.com on the end. I don’t know how to keep that from happening and it just started a few days ago. Is there a plugin for it or anything?

    Thanks.

  • This sort of thing is common for email spam, and it is not due to WordPress.

For this sort of junk, I just “blackhole” emails addressed to non-existent addresses with my domain’s cPanel email spam manager. This way, I never see this garbage, as I would if it were routed to my main email address.

Alright, that’s what I need to know, thanks. Now to tinker with that, since I’ve never used it : ). Thanks again.

Edit, let me ask you this, what version are you using? I’m in 2.5 and I wonder if I need to update to get that feature.

Edit 2. Ok…it’s been awhile since I’ve done any work on this. Just realized where the Cpanel is which is not in the admin area where I was looking. Going to do a needed update then sort it out. Thanks again.
