e-mail subject line and semi-colons

  • all is working well with one exception; if the Subject line contains a semi-colon, even after the [Categoryname] it gets filed under the [1] General category.

    is there a way to prevent this?

  • Yes, this poses a problem with messages that are forwards or replies, which typically carry the “Fwd:” or “Re:” notations in the subject line.

    It is kind of cumbersome to have to remove these semi-colons each time, in order to get the message filed in the right category ??
