I created a registration form that has worked for months, and today I attempted to add an e-mail verification link to be sent to the new user.

I went to the Advanced section of the Email to User area of the form options page, and chaged e-mail verification to ‘yes’, but nothing has happened to the confirmation e-mail the user receives. The text appears in the e-mail just as it is in “Custom Text in Email For User”.

Is there something else I need to do to make this work?

    Any help will be appreciated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Dear user,

Also, make sure that you have added a verification link. Please follow the below mentioned steps.

Go to Form Options > Email Options > Email to user section. In Advanced section activate the Email verification option and click on Edit post link. Then add the verification link and update.

Please try and let me know if the problem persists.

    To add the verification link

Please go to Form Options > Email Options > Email to user section and in Custom Text in Email For User add Verification Link placeholder.

In Edit post section you can change the context of the post.

    Thanks, have a nice day!

Thanks for your help. I had not added the last stop, editing the post to include the link.

I can see that my test registration has been verified in submissions.

    Thanks again.

Hi! Tell me, please, what Shortcode should be on the page “Email verification” for correct verification? I accidentally deleted it and now when I click on the link from the email I do not verify the email

    {verificationlink}

Thank you so much, liamtreacy! It’s a pity that it did not help. But I found a solution) Installed the plugin on another site and looked at what shortcode was on the page / fmemailverification / email-verification /

    It turned out this: [email_verification]

    Hi!

We are glad that the problem is solved.
[email_verification] should be in the shortcode.

    Thanks, have a nice day!
