    Hi, I have a problem with the new Google Consent Mode. I have sent you an E-Mail last week and asked again on Sunday. No answer. Have you lost it?

    Hi @topfgartenwelt,

    At first glance, the website in question appears to use a manual implementation of Google Analytics (so, without Consent Mode support), and it seems to be added outside of Complianz at the moment.

    I’d recommend removing the current implementation, and then following the instructions mentioned here (https://complianz.io/consent-mode-for-7-0/) under “Configuring Google Tags with Complianz” to place the Google Tag(s) with Complianz and enable Consent Mode support.

    Please know that we have received your message, although we are experiencing a high increase in the amount of support requests; and as such there might be a delay in response time compared to what you’re used to from us.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Dear Jarno, thank you very much! But how I should implement the G-Tag Container and where? Is Google Site Kit a must?

    I have added to GA4-ID to Complianz and forced the plugin to load GA4. Also I have activated Consent Mode V2. Maybe you can check if everything is fine?

    Is there something else to do? Should I activate the Google Consent Signals in Google Analytics? As I see they are only for Google Ads?

    Hi @topfgartenwelt,

    The Google Site Kit plugin is not required, it’s just one of the supported methods to apply Consent Mode in Complianz. But the method you’ve applied is perfectly fine as well.

    Consent Mode is now working correctly on this site, in other words, you are now sending the Google Consent Signals as per their new guidelines.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    I still have the problem that many pageviews are missing under consent mode and I still don’t see the sources. In Analytics (live mode) I can’t see from where my visitors are coming.

    Hi @topfgartenwelt,

    While I can’t say what data collection the use of Consent Mode would involve in the Analytics Dashboard specifically;

    The Analytics Tag is now being loaded with Consent Mode support enabled, as indicated by the GCS=G111 parameter in the requests to Google Analytics (when full consent is provided in the Cookie Banner); so the implementation does look fine here.

    Kind regards, Jarno
