    Hello,

    I’m using the EA Post Grid to have some “featured” posts at the top of my home page for a specific category. I went to update one of my post grids that has 3 posts (the GEAR section), but it seems like it is no longer getting a new fresh query, and when I change the ordering, it’s only shuffling around the same 3 posts (even though there are way more).

    If I make a new EA Post Grid it works fine, but I’ve spent some time getting all the settings right and I don’t want to do it again.

    So I have 2 questions…

    1. How do I force a refresh of the query for the EA Post Grid?
    2. How can I copy all the settings of the EA Post Grid to another EA Post Grid without copying the whole thing? (this would solve my problem kind of)

    Thanks!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @teradyl,

    How are you doing? First of all, I am seeing this following error in the console: TypeError: r is undefined

    You can easily get rid of it by clearing your cache from wp-admin -> Essential Addons -> Tools -> Clear Cache? This should resolve this issue of yours.

    It might also save the issue you are facing with Post query as well. Could you please check and let me know how it goes? If that doesn’t work, we will have to investigate a bit further to get the bottom of it.

    Besides, make sure to update to the latest version of Essential Addons 3.3.3. So, let me know how the update goes as well. Thank you.

    Interesting. So this reveals another problem, but does not solve my initial problem.

    If you go to my website, you’ll see that the post grid does not fill in the empty space like it should. It makes only horizontal rows of posts. The error I see is as such:

    If I clear my cache, this fixes it for just ONE refresh, but then the error comes back.

    Clearing the cache does not seem to effect the posts not getting updated for the post query.

    I am indeed on the latest version at 3.3.3.

    Thanks!

    @teradyl,

    Hi, there. I have just checked your site and EA Post Grid seems to be working as it’s expected. Has your issue been resolved already? Here’s what I am seeing in my end: https://prnt.sc/phddt1

    No extra gaps between images plus, the console error you referred to aren’t there as well. Can you please try another browser and check back?

    Let me know how it goes. Thank you.

    @rafinkhan it seems that the EA Post Grid is displaying properly, but my initial issue is not resolved that the content is not updating. When I am in the edit mode of an EA Post Grid (the ones above the Recent posts), under Content > Query I am trying to change the content of those 3 posts on the top, and whatever I do, it never changes. I even select Manual Selection and they don’t get refreshed.

    So there are 2 possible solutions
    1. How do I force a refresh on an individual EA Post Grid?
    2. How do I copy all the Style settings to a new EA Post Grid? (because a new EA Post Grid doesn’t have this problem of the Query not refreshing)

    @teradyl,

    Hi, there. Well, I have just tried to reproduce your issue from my end. Here’s what I did: I installed an older version of Essential Addons on my site. Then, added EA Post Grid and made few changes in the query (retrieved posts based on certain categories).

    Afterward, I have updated the plugin to the latest version. Then, I tried changing the queries of the existing post. And it seemed to be working perfectly fine as expected (both in the Elemenetor Editor and Live Preview).

    So, it’s difficult to say what’s happening on your end which is causing this without proper investigation. Would you please try clearing Elementor cache as well? You can do that by navigating to wp-admin -> Elementor -> Tools -> Regenerate CSS.

    Let me know how that goes. If the issue persists, could you please contact us through here: wpdeveloper.net/support

    Thank you.
