Each autopost on facebook shows as an entry in analytics

    Hi
    I’m using the latest version of snap and wordpress on my new website.

    Plugin autopost 200 posts each day to my facebook page.

    My google analytics shows 200 entries each day from facebook with average visot tine of 6 seconds !!

    When disabling the plugin my analytics shows normal behaviour.

    Please check this issue.

    P.s. I have my old website with a much older version of snap and no issues with analytics there.

    Why exactly is this a SNAP issue or even an issue at all?

    Most probably you just set SNAP to “Let Facebook decide my info”. In order to do that Facebook MUST visit your site, so it does just that.

    It’s 100% plugin issue since when disabling the plugin analytics are ok and no entries with zero seconds sessions are accurred.

    I am sorry, but I still don’t get why you call this “an issue”?

    Plugin publishes 200 posts to Facebook. Facebook’s robot comes to your site 200 times (one per post) to check what was posted. It takes 6 seconds for the robot to check your page.

    You turn off the plugin. Nothing is posted to Facebook. Facebook does not care about your site so no visits.

    Where is the issue?
