• Every time I visit the login page, whether I attempt to log in or not the plugin counts it as an attempt. For example, I have it set to 4 attempts, once I log in then out its down to 3 and so on. It didn’t use to do this and it is really limiting my ability to work and also assign roles to admin. Any ideas how to stop this?
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but didnt work. Help please
Ive seen @johncosby has a similar issue – Did you get it resolved?

    Hi ssfitz,

Do you use any password management/forms autocomplete software?

    Hi WPChefTeam,

Thanks for your reply. I don’t have any password management/forms autocomplete software. I do have autocomplete on Google chrome, but ive tried using different browsers on different computers and I have the same issue.

Can you think of anything else it could be?
    Thanks for your help,
    Steve

I have something similar to ssfitz. I managed a dozen WordPress installs and have Limit Login Attempts Reloaded installed on all of them. Most times it is a nightmare trying to logon to the accounts I manage. Sometimes it takes two or three login attempt to get in, but a minute ago I got locked out, really pissed me off, I usually paste in the password every time as I have noticed the Chrome pw autofill already loaded the pw, and from past experience pasting in the password fresh usually got me in in one or two tries. I think the accounts where Limit Login Attempts Reloaded has been updated it stopped doing this, but on account I haven’t logged onto in a while I get locked out. Real pain in the a**. Please advise.
