• Sadly since being updated and moved over to the new developers every update takes over a little bit more of the admin area, more redirects, more ads etc – now I have a security section that I don’t want and cannot turn off – the warnings that flash up about SSL even after clicked don’t go away – I will be looking elsewhere – afters years of perfect use now its become so intrusive – such a shame

    Hello.

The plugin still performs anti-spam functions. And it does it as discreetly as before.

Indeed, we have added many new features to the plugin, but all of them are disabled by default. If you don’t need them, you don’t have to use them, but other users will probably need them.

An undisguised notification about the missing HTTPS Protocol is really wrong and we will fix it in the next update.

Appreciate the reply Artem and I agree to some people it will do what they want and well – I guess for me since its been taken over we have had more and more popups appearing with each new update – click dismiss and it took you to the new anti spam page, its now got a new section on left hand menu – when its not really needed, plus a section in the header above too – combined with the SSL warnings that will never go away – that for me was last straw – real shame

We will remove the notification. The menu item in the upper adminbar can be disabled in the plugin settings. And the item in the main menu is needed. Many plugins have it, and it doesn’t bother anyone
