EAN for variable products

    Hi,

    is it possible to add the custom field EAN to the variation of variable products to show EAN code like in simple product? I think that the text field for entering the EAN code is also displayed for a specific variant (eg. under price field).

    Hi @topod,

    Not sure if I got it correctly, but you can set different EAN for each variation. The field is right below the “Regular price” field – you can see it on this screenshot.

    Also, there is an option to set EAN for the variable (i.e. main) product itself. And in case if some variation won’t have EAN set, it will be used as a fallback. The field is in “Inventory” tab, right below the “SKU” field, similar as it is for simple products.
