Easiest way for non-tech user to keep calendar up to date.

Hi there,
I have created a website for a friend and have purchased the Pro version. What is the easiest way for a non-tech user to keep the events calendar up to date? This is probably more to block days off the calendar i.e. due to private events like weddings. Actual public events that people will attend and buy tickets for I will probably setup. Ideally, we would like potential brides to be able to look at the events calendar and see if their date is available.
