    Hi,

Autoptimize is breaking Plugin: Easy Accordion – Best Accordion FAQ Plugin for WordPress when “Optimise JavaScript Code?” is enabled and you’re unable to open the accordion panels.

To work around this do I need to add the plugin’s .js path to the exclude scripts from Autoptimize or should the issue be reported to the Plugin Author as a bug?

    Adding:
    wp-content/plugins/easy-accordion-free/public/assets/js/collapse.min.js
    /wp-content/plugins/easy-accordion-free/public/assets/js/script.min.js

To exclude scripts from Autoptimize fixed the issue.

    Cheers.

I would indeed simply add wp-content/plugins/easy-accordion-free/ to the comma-separated JS optimization exclusion list, but you can always try contacting the author and ask if (s)he can tweak the plugin’s JS code so that it allows to be executed later?

    Hi,

Thank you. I’m going to go ahead and whitelist the path for this plugin is that the best route to whitelist the path of the whole plugin not each .js file?

Spoken to the plugin authors and they’ve added it to the roadmap of things to look into but no ETA.

Marking this as resolved, thanks again.

is that the best route to whitelist the path of the whole plugin not each .js file?

yes indeed, much easier than having to add each JS-file individually ??

Marking this as resolved, thanks again.

you’re welcome, feel free to leave a review of the plugin and support here! ??
