Easy Contact – not receive Email

  • good day

    I just install Easy-Contact plugin. I able to activate and include the contact form into my contact page. I able to fill up the form and I got the successful message after click submit.

    My problem is, I cant receive Email sent from Easy-Contact. I tried contact form 7 too. None of the form working with my blog.

    Any idea what feature is missing?

    It’s weird, I just installed POSTCAST server and sending mail works locally! My version of wordpress 2.7.1, easy touch 0.1.2.

    I looked at the code and I noticed that it does not test if sending mail works or not. Any way sending mail work locally so the error comes from us and not the plugin!

    my site is hosted by 1 & 1. I create the email address on this account. When I try to send a mail via gmail instead of the site (with the plugin easy contact) I received the following error code:

    The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay

    this is definitely not the fault of the plugin. I stop my research on the plugin.

    I have the same issue of not receiving sent emails from “Easy Contact” or “Contact 7”.

    Can anyone help us?

    I’ve found out that u need 2 install WP-Mail-SMTP plugin and make sure which port is open for mail and what is ur domain’s mail server by contacting ur host.
