Easy Digital Downloads

  • Hello! I’m trying to get your plugin to work with Easy Digital Downloads during the Checkout page. Here’s the HTML of the address box and its ID:

    <input type="text" id="card_address" name="card_address" class="card-address edd-input" placeholder="Address line 1" value="">

    However, when I insert card_address at the form id in your plugin, autocomplete doesn’t work as expected.

    Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

    Kia ora Brian,

    Checkouts usually are multi-line addresses, like Address Line 1, Line 2, City, State, Country, and ZIP code. The plugin doesn’t support multi-line addresses, unfortunately. If it is a single-line address then could you share the link to the website and I will have a look?

    Thanks Raza! I was finally able to get it to work with Address Line 1, but it doesn’t populate the rest of the fields like you said. Hopefully, that’s something you can figure out in the future. This would speed up the checkout process for my customers.
