Easy Digital Downloads and HTML5 jQuery Audio Pro

  • We’re looking at using Easy Digital Downloads in conjunction with HTML5 jQuery Audio Pro for selling music (MP3 downloads) online. Has anyone used those two plugins with success? We’re looking for the ability to offer 30-second clips of the songs. Once purchased, the buyer would be able to download the entire song.

    Haven’t used that audio plugin but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work after reading the above page.

    I would manually edit your music tracks to 30 seconds using your audio software and then put those 30 second mp3/ogg files into the HTML5 jQuery Audio Pro player. Then when you create a product in Easy Digital Downloads just upload the full mp3 track because that’s what will get sent to the buyer when they purchase it.
