Easy Digital Downloads Frontend Submissions “add media’ button dissapeared

Hi,
I’m using Easy Digital Downloads on my website and when I want to create a new product via frontend submissions (as a test), I am not able to upload any files, because the “add media” or “insert media” button has vanished. User roles are well set.

Added an image. In the right lower corner, there is supposed to be a “add media” button.
