    hi support,
trying to get easy fancy box to work with new gutenberg blocks.
I have managed to get it to work on an image only, (by linking image to media file (custom link),,, but what aboutr the other blocks in gutenberg?
they dont have custom link options ,, only custom css
Or,, I can go to html view,, and insert some code (maybe a class) for image to open in easy fancy box?
If so, what’s the code please ??
    I’m no programmer,,, really confusing,,
Here’s 3 images I’ve uploaded to imgur showing my problem.

Hi, the Media & Text block does not provide any link option so it is not suited for FancyBox. Editing the source code is not advised as it will easily break your block…

The normal Image block has the option Link to: Media file. No need to choose Custom URL and then paste the full URL yourself, unless you wish another image to open.

    Many thanks for your reply,

I’m 100% sure gutenberg with evolve,, blocks will become more advanced,,, I can’t be the only 1 wanting this feature?

Real limitations with this gutenberg,,, that said, I feel it is the way forward,,, just needs to evolve,, quickly I hope!!!

As a note,, I have tried a few advanced block plugins,, everyone has a fault hear or there.
I’m just trying to sort out an issue with the stackable block plugin, accordion script.

Just to illustrate my frustration with blocks at the moment.
Longterm, things will be good,,, but I just hope wordpress developers get a move on (in the most polite way) ASAP.
Happy new year to you RavanH,, great plugin by the way
Hope maybe you can find a work around to get your fancybox to work with more blocks.

    Yours sincerely

    Very likely ??

What you could do until then is take a column block with two columns and place a normal image block inside either the left or the right column. This should give you a the freedom you need.

The stackable/accordeon bloc issue looks like a CSS conflict. Hope you can figure it out, or developers fix it soon.

A happy new (and not too turbulent Gutenberg-)year to you too!

    Thanks for suggestion RavanH
    I will try that,,
    as to accordion block,,
I tested loads,,, and as always,, was the last 1 that was by far the best,, it is excellent,,
really,, you have to check it out RavanH
You make accordions in its own ‘admin panel’ then just add short code..
but can do so much with it
    link is here; https://www.pickplugins.com/documentation/accordions/?ref=dashboard#

    Hope it helps
and thanks for advice,, I will try
