Easy FancyBox in a Contact Form

I would like to use Easy Fancybox in a contact form. I have a checkbox with a number of items in it. I would like to use a link with one of the checkbox items which when clicked on would open an Easy Fancybox (or something similar). Basically, I would like to explain what that particular item is in more detail by using a popup of some sort. Is that possible? If so how would I do that?
