Easy Google Fonts Install Fails

When I try to install easy-google-fonts, I get an install fails message.

Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. C:/home/site/wwwroot/familyhistory/wp-content/plugins/easy-google-fonts/
Plugin install failed.
I navigated to that directory and deleted it, so it does not exist, but it thinks it does.
How do I install?
