• I have installed “tesseract” theme on wordpress.
Whenever “Easy google fonts” plugin is activated, it ruins my logo both at header and footer. My logo is a png image, but still is surrounded by an ugly white box. Same thing happens if i choose the site’s identity to be displayed instead of my logo.
When i deactivate the “Easy google fonts” plugin, the problem is fixed and everything looks like it was supposed to.
How can i fix it? I really need the “Easy google fonts” plugin but it doesn’t worth it if it is to ruin my logo.

    Hi johansar,
The reason you are seeing the white box is because you are setting a background color for the h1 font control which is also affecting your logo. Follow these instructions:

    • Reset all of the font controls to their defaults and save the changes in the customizer.
    • Go to Settings > Google Fonts in the WordPress admin area to create a new font control.
    • Create new font control with the following css selector: .entry-content h1

Once this font control has been created visit the customizer and you will be able to control the heading 1 elements in your theme independently from the logo. Cheers

    Sunny
