Easy Google Fonts with Sparkling theme?

Hello, love the theme so far. I’d like to use the Easy Google Fonts plugin I’ve used before with other themes, but when it’s activated it seems to conflict with the Customizer–that is, Customizer won’t even load (Easy Google Fonts allows you to control font attributes through the Typography option in Customizer). Is this a known issue already, or is there a way I can configure the two to play nice together? Thanks!
