I’ve had to deactivate the ‘Easy Hide Login’ for the following 2 reasons:

    1. It screws up the login for any WP staging you set up. If you try to login, it pops up a 404 page, if you add your ‘Easy Hide Login’ slug to the staging URL, it simply refers you to your live site!

    2. If you send an ‘Export Personal Data’. or ‘Erase Personal Data’ email for verification, the link in the email does not take into consideration the ‘Easy Hide Login’ slug, and directs the user to the standard /wp-login.php page, the user will again see a 404 page.

If anyone has a solution to these issues it’ll be great to hear them.

    Thanks.

  • Same here. Did you submit a support request to the developer?

While trying to login to WP admin today I was redirected to 404 page. Troubleshooting revealed the problem to be the Easy Hide Login. Deactivated it and was able to login successfully.

I did not install the plugin and am thinking it was part of the theme package. Either way, it’s deleted now.

I had the same issues with a staging site and it took a long time to figure my way through it.

After deleting Easy Hide Login I have a PHP warning in my debug:

HP Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘easy_hide_login_hidden_field’ not found or invalid function name in /home/”CHANGED”/public_html/”CHANGED”/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286

I’ve asked the developer how to remove it but he has ignored the same request a few times from others. So if anyone knows please mention it. Thanks.
