Easy modal breaks site navigation with upgrade to WP4.5

    Hi,

    My site has a basic drop down navigation, and also has a little sidebar tab control on the right with recent blog posts, facebook posts, etc.

    With the upgrade to WP 4.5, my dropdown nav doesn’t drop down, and my tab control tabs don’t stack properly when Easy modal is activated. Works fine when easy modal is turned off. Tried both latest and last know working versions of easy modal.

    I have a live and test version of my site, the test site is upgraded to 4.5 and is broken where the production version is still on WP 4.4 and working fine.

    @neponset – Actually your theme is loading jQuery tools and it has a JS error that was caused by bad coding originally (IE was always wrong), but jQuery v1.12 which was added to WP 4.5 makes it obvious by generating an actual error on that code. IE didn’t used to throw an error, now does.

    Popups & Modals require JS to open, so a breaking JS error prevents that.
