    Hi there,

I have read the Getting Started documentation.

As part of learning how to use Easy Modal (Version 2.0.17) I created a page at https://www.cyberbooks.com.au/modal-test. There are two pop ups. The first is “what will it cost” and the second is “Print Ready Manuscript Explained”. Clicking on these works.

If you go to the Home Page (https://www.cyberbooks.com.au) and click on “Our Print Ready Primer”, this will not work. I am using the same eModal for both. It is set as sitewide.

I also set up another instance “Print Ready Explained” using “Easy Modal” on the About page (navigate from the menu). This works fine.

    Would you please advise.

    Thanks.

@karlcastan – Looks like the broken page has a JS error occuring that will prevent modals from opening.

You will need to solve the JS error in your themes bw-gallery.js first. This is the error: imagesloaded.pkgd.min.js?ver=1:7 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of null

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for your prompt response.

The people who made the theme have come back and said they cannot see any issue (which means nothing really). I have tried this outside of WordPress using both FireFox and Chrome and same result.

I installed a copy of Easy Modal on https://www.artofcyberbiz.com.au and it will not work on the Home page but if you click on Continue Reading it will work. I have yet to install the latest version of WordPress on this site.

@karlcastan – Looks like your link with the eModal-1 class is being stripped out in the excerpt. So it is not being set as a trigger there.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi There,

Once again thank you for your response.

In answer to your question, no that does not help – mostly because you give me no idea as to how I can set about resolving the issue. As I am almost 100% sure you are giving me the brush off, I will uninstall your product and not go ahead with my intended purchase.

    Regards.
