• If you get your Multisite WP set up, install the plugin and you are done.
    One thing I really miss (or could not find it) in settings is to change the front- backend language.
    The language should change accordingly to the articles, so if you have an english default in / the standard language files should be used and if you write articles in /de/ the de_DE files should bring up the matching translation of the front- and backend.

  • If you copy the *.po and *.mo files for your language to wp-content/languages folder, a new option will appear in each site backend, under settings/general called “site language” where you can choose the language of front and backend.
