Easy to use with positive results

  • Over the years I have tried and compared just about every page speed boosting plugin and combination there is.

    My fall back has been W3 boosted by the old Ninja stand alone plugins.
    Recently with the WP upgrades and multiple upgrades of the standard plugins I use I am experiencing several conflict issues with W3, while they can be resolved it eats into my time to keep re-tweaking things.

    I had a look at this PageSpeed plugin and it seems to combine the old tried & tested Nija plugins (GZip Ninja Speed Compression hasn’t been updated for 3 years and still does the biz!) with some new stuff.
    I decided to give it a try.

    Current set up Pagespeed 83 / 71
    GTmetrix 90 / Yslow 78

    I stripped W3 & the old ninja plugins out of my test site and ran the tests again.
    PageSpeed 51 / 64
    GTmetrix 58 Yslow 58

    Installed Pagespeed Ninja
    First run.
    PageSpeed 84 / 94
    GTmetrix 93 Yslow 80

    An improvement over my previous set up, no conflicts with my standard raft of plugins and this is devilishly simple to use. I am going to let it run for a few days and if all is still good I will try it on a couple of my ‘live’ sites

    So 5 stars for now and if this is still beta, how much better will it get?
