Easy Twitter Feed incompatible with WordPress 4.0?

Unfortunately I’ve had to deactivate the plugin because it made the whole editing area of WP go blank – I couldn’t see the list of posts and trying to go in and edit a live post just showed a completely white web page. I’ve worked out that I can activate it when I don’t want to do any editing/adding posts – but obviously that’s not ideal. Any plans to make it compatible? Otherwise I suppose I’ll have to find another Twitter feed… I am assuming this is because of the update, but I only installed it shortly before doing the update – so it could be that it’s incompatible with the theme I’m using – Tempera?
