Easy way to confirm members

    Hi,

    I have just created a Woocommerce site with WordPress. We have group members who do not have an account on our site.

    We want to create a way for them to get the correct discounts. Like using their phone number as a coupon or something as easy. But the problem is that they should get some products for free, others with a % discount. Then we need to create a coupon for each member for each product. It is necessary to use personal codes to make sure that non-members pay a higher price.

    Is there an easy way to do this? Or another way to make sure they get the correct discount without forcing them to sign up on the site.

    Hi @victorthomsen,

    The default Coupon feature under Marketing > Coupons allows you to establish a percentage and fixed product discount using the member’s phone number as the Coupon code.     But I was wondering if it was possible to let the same phone number (coupon) give a fixed product discount on one product category and a percentage discount on another product category.

    So that I only need to register the customer once with one coupon… if there is another way that gives the same result without using coupons please let me know.

    Thanks for getting back to us. I’m not aware of any way to make a coupon code offer different discounts based on the product/category. They’re set up to be a fixed discount or a percentage discount.

    You might consider offering something that gets the user to sign up for an account first. Then you can control discounts based on their account. It could be a discount by role or membership level if you’re using something like WooCommerce Memberships.
